Celebrate the Year of the Dog!

Lunar New Year is an annual community festival to mark the New Year in the Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean Calendars. With a huge program including plenty of food, entertainment, and free activities, this is an event for the whole family to enjoy.

This year, we’re bringing you an exciting and colourful program showcasing traditional and contemporary cultural performances, including Korean drumming, K-Pop dancers, Vietnamese Ao Dai show, Lion & Dragon dance, local favourites, Sophia Bridget Dalisay and Marcus Rivera, Katrina & the Wonderdogs, and special international guest performers, Wuhan Peking Opera Company from China, and Pyeong taek Nong Ak Percussion team from South Korea.

Get your food fix at our hawker-inspired markets, with some of the best Asian treats on offer: Vietnamese Banh Xeo pancakes, Malaysian noodles, Korean bulgogi beef, pork belly bao, gourmet fried ice cream, desserts from KOI Dessert Bar and refreshing bubble tea, to mention just a few! Families also have the opportunity to enjoy the night from the relaxed setting of the family friendly Lunar Lounge and Dumpling Bar.

In its seventh year, the Premier’s Harmony Dinner continues to celebrate the NSW Government’s commitment to a cohesive and inclusive society in which cultures, languages and religions of all citizens are accepted and appreciated.


Featuring incredible special performances, the Multicultural Honour Roll, the Premier’s Multicultural Community Medals, and a prize for Best Cultural Dress, the evening is a sit down cultural dress or black tie dinner not to be missed.


The Premier’s Harmony Dinner is presented by Multicultural NSW. Multicultural NSW promotes building and maintaining a cohesive and harmonious multicultural society that enriches the lives of all the people of NSW.

St Mary’s Cathedral will again be the star of Sydney’s public Christmas celebrations.

The Lights of Christmas return to capture the imagination of audiences with a spectacular light and sound show.

Starting each evening at 7.30pm with a choir performance.

This year there will be more food options available on site including Christmas-inspired churros and artisan gelato.

Presented by AGB Events.

 

Every day, 7.30pm to 12am
